A fall walk at Tenafly Nature Center
Make time for a trail visit while getting to know Tenafly.
Tenafly Nature Center offers more than seven miles of trails within a preserve of almost 400 acres. Its visitor guidance lists daily trail access from one hour after sunrise until one hour before sunset. Those daylight-based hours matter as autumn evenings arrive earlier.
For a first visit, review the official trail map and choose a route that fits your available time. Leave room to turn back before closing, wear shoes suited to uneven ground, and check the current trail rules before bringing a group. The center asks groups of ten or more to contact it in advance.
